Taha Husein was one of the most famous writers in Egypt. Also he was an influential person in 20th cemtury in Egypt. He was intelligent. He became blind at the age of three, but he couldn't be cured because his family was poor.Also his father retired. However, he wanted to complite his education.
In 1914 he became the first graduate to receive a Ph.D. He wrote many novels and essays. Also he wrote his autobiography "AL-Ayyam". In 1950 he was appointed as the Minister of Education.
I love he novels and I have read "AL-Ayyam". Taha Husseins complete works have been pulished by (World Book Publishing) .You should read his books.
