my problem

I don't Know why some teachers in the exam when we ask them to explain some think they say ( I can't I can't) !!!
But other teachers are good and helpful.
Today in the exam I had this problem . I asked the teacher to explain some thing to me in writing. But she said ( I can't I can't) then I got sad and nervous.

    Shamee,
    yeh some of them dont explain they say read it many times then u will understand the topic,,
    u should told her i dont want the answer just the meaning

    I said to her (I don't want the anwser but I don't understand the meaning)then she said I can't Ican't!!!
